Riding The Lagoon

Your intensive beginner course takes place at Ras al had/ Aseelah lagoon. These lagoons are located 2.5 hours from Muscat. The drive to Ras al had takes you along the coastal road down towards Sur. It is a very easy and senic drive. The logoons are considered world class for their high consistency of wind. The lagoons are flat, shallow, and safe. You really will enjoy the luxury conditions and comforts that this intensive beginners package offers.

For your one or two nights stay, we use our 26ft carvan. We park the caravan right on the edge of the lagoon for a sea view. After your first day of learning to kite surf, you really will appreciate the comfort of our caravan. A good nights sleep, a shower, and some freshly cooked food will help you relax so you can rest and make the most out your for trip. The caravan sleeps up to six, so this trip is perfect for a group of friends who want to learn to kitesurf together.

Beginners Course: The intensive six hour beginners kite surfing course is aimed at complete beginners and is a great entry to the world of kite surfing. Initially learning the fundamentals, we then move on to kite control whilst covering all safety aspects. Beach and wind assessments comes next, followed by kite set-ups, body dragging in the water, kite handling techniques, and then finially, learning the waterstart and self rescuse. All courses provide international certification.
